4-channel VR amplifier

Few weeks back while tuning the traction/launch control we noticed weird pulses in the wheel sensor signals. In the end these pulses came from the ABS ECU..

Because of this I made a small, penny size, 4-channel Variable Reluctor signal conditioning amplifier. Amplifier can be tuned to work with any, ground referenced VR sensor.

 

Spec is as follows:

-          Four independent channels

-          Ground referenced sensors are required

-          Built-in, current limited voltage regulator, Input voltage 6-16 volts.

-          Built-in Diagnostic mode

-          PCB Size 17 x 21mm

-          Lifetime warranty, ship old one back and you'll get a new replacement for free.

Below is a picture from an oscilloscope from the input (Red) and output (Blue). It shows how sine wave input transforms to square wave:

 

Here is a trace from Autronic SM4. Traces are vehicle speed, driven speed, HSI1-3
