How does removal of the weatherstripping affect engine bay temperatures?

 

 

Below are the results. First group of graphs shows what was the temperature distribution, second group shows the temps in relation to the speed
 

First graph is the header sensor. Shows clearly how the Cut weatherstripping is the best since the temps are the coolest close to the header.

 

Next graph shows the coolant temp and again the Cut weatherstripping is the best.

 

Graph below shows the oil temperature and external intake manifold temperature. Again, the Cut weatherstripping is the best

 

Following 2 graphs shows the temperatures against the speed. More concentration to the bottom left corner the better.

 

So, looks promising and will update this after few days.
